This one-page flyer uses text and illustrations to educate people about ways to protect against West Nile virus infections and other mosquito-borne diseases. It was created for people living in Vermont, but the information it provides about protection from mosquito bites is useful to everyone. It clarifies that in Vermont mosquitoes are most active at night. It identifies things people can do to protect themselves from mosquito bites, including wearing protective clothing, using insect repellent, and mosquito-proofing the home.
