Abstract:

This two-page handout educates people about home safety. It provides a checklist parents and caregivers can use to make sure their home is safe for a baby or young children. Using a series of questions, the document identifies safety issues and solutions for the crib and sleeping, bathroom, storage in cabinets and drawers, and elsewhere around the home and in the car. Contacts for more information are provided.
