Abstract:

This two-page English-language document gives service providers working with refugees in the Somali Bantu Community Orientation program a guide to materials. This program gives resettlement agency staff a resource to use when conducting orientation classes for Somali Bantu refugees, including curriculum for classroom sessions, descriptions of trips into the community, handouts for clients and service providers, and other resources. The document explains the objectives of community orientation, provides facilitation tips, and outlines contents and course structure.
