Abstract:

This nine-page English-language document gives service providers working with refugees in the Somali Bantu Community Orientation program guidelines for helping identify job skills. It explains the session's objective, what materials the facilitator will need, and how to deliver the instructional session. Discussion questions are provided. To help participants identify their skills, the document includes lists of skill types such as self-management, agriculture, restaurants, construction, automotive, office, health, school, electrical installation, housekeeping, and other trades.
