This two-page English-language document gives service providers working with refugees in the Somali Bantu Community Orientation program guidelines for working with a Muslim patient in order to improve communication and health care. It provides information about how Muslims view illness, Islamic health practices, and offers suggestions about what health care providers can do for their Muslim patients.
