Somali Bantu Community Orientation Curriculum, Attachment 26: Food Guide Pyramid - A Guide to Daily Food Choices
This two-page English-language document uses an illustration of a food pyramid to educate people about nutrition, food groups, and servings. It depicts the food groups milk, meat, vegetables, fruit, and grains, suggests number of servings of each per day, and advises limiting fats, oils, and sweets. It explains what counts as one serving for each group, and provides a table identifying servings for particular sex and age group.
