This two-page report informs service providers working with refugees from Burma. It provides a historical timeline (1057-2015), brief descriptions of methods of torture used in that country, and a synopsis of current conditions and pertinent issues facing Burmese refugees. It discusses the country's current situation, including ethnic cleansing, elections, human trafficking, and the Myanmar / Burma name debate.
