This six-panel brochure educates people who have been exposed to tuberculosis (TB) about the need for being tested. It explains the difference between latent (inactive) TB infection and active TB disease, and how you can and can't become infected. It discusses skin and blood tests for TB, and the need for a chest x-ray if the test is positive. Contact information for the San Francisco TB Clinic is included.
