Resource Properties

Abstract:

This six-panel brochure educates people about tuberculosis (TB). It explains the difference between latent (inactive) TB infection and active TB disease, and how you can and cannot become infected. It discusses skin and blood tests for TB, and the need for a chest x-ray if the test is positive. The document identifies people who are at high risk for TB and may need to be tested. A list of TB test sites in the San Francisco area is provided.
