This one-page handout uses a question and answer format to educate parents and other caregivers about what to do if a child experiences discomfort after receiving a vaccination. It provides advice about checking for fever,  and how to reduce fever, pain, and swelling. A checklist is included to help parents identify those symptoms for which a doctor should be called.
