Abstract:

This four-page illustrated handout educates people about exercises for the back. It contains brief descriptions and accompanying illustrations of twelve exercises to help people move better and strengthen the muscles that support the back. It contains instructions about the pelvic tilt, knee to chest, double knee to chest, curl up, diagonal curl up, hip rolls, bridge, low back stretch, cat stretch, hamstring stretch, wall slide, and press ups. The document includes check boxes where a healthcare provider can indicate which exercises they should do, and a place where they can write in the number of times a day the patient should repeat the exercises.
