This twelve-page illustrated handout educates people about exercises to strengthen the shoulder. It contains step-by-step instructions with accompanying illustrations for ten shoulder exercises that can be performed while  laying on a firm, sturdy table, on the floor, or on an exercise bench. It specifies which exercises require additional equipment such as a long dowel rod, L bar, light weights, Theraband, or resistance tubing. The document includes check boxes where a healthcare provider can indicate which exercises they should do, specify exercises for one or both arms, and a place where they can write in the number of times a day the patient should repeat the exercises, and how long they should hold each position.
