Abstract:

This four-page handout educates people about things they can do to sleep better. It provides simple guidelines people can follow to improve the quality of their sleep, and recommends they talk to their doctor if they continue to get insufficient sleep. The document discusses establishing a regular schedule, dietary habits, exercise, bedtime routines and activities, and offers guidance for cutting down on cigarettes and caffeine, and not drinking alcohol after dinner.
