Side effects - HIV medicines, part 3

Resource Properties

Abstract:

This one-page handout with accompanying video and audio recording educates people with HIV about side effects associated with a combination of HIV medicines called antiretroviral therapy (ART). It discusses how side effects can differ from person to person and medicine to medicine, lists serious side effects that require immediate medical care, and clarifies that some side effects may not be related to HIV medicines. The document recommends that persons taking ART be sure to discuss any side effects with their health care provider.
