It describes its common names, its different forms and ways of being used, how it acts upon the body, its harmful effects, and addiction. The document discusses the short term and long term effects of meth, how those who use needles are at risk for acquiring HIV/AIDS, and how meth can be deadly. Signs and symptoms of methamphetamine use are described, and telephone and Internet contacts for information and referrals are provided.
